Fitness Holidays Time For Fun And Healthy Exercise}

Submitted by: Davis James

Each year leads us into new and better fitness tendencies and 2016 is no different. Our Fitness Holidays under the sun have incorporated the tried & tested practices to help you get in shape and lose weight. So, will you be doing some kickass boxing, muddy running or hitting the barre in 2016? Find something you love and start working out smarter.

HIIT Training

Nowadays we are always pushed for time. So, why spend more hours in the fitness than we should? Professor Tabata from Japan revealed that 20 seconds of intense exercise plus 10 seconds of rest or gentle exercise, improved cardio performance.

The 2016 version of HIIT training involves periods of tough exercise interspersed with very short rest periods. Not only will this sort of workout boost your cardio performance, but it will also burn fat by improving your metabolic rate and burning calories for 12 hours after you’ve finished exercising.

You will find HIIT training in our circuit exercises to maximize the fat burning abilities of your body systems. Just think about the ultimate boot camp holiday with much luxuries and no shouting!

Functional Training

Better known as cross fit, it’s compared to special forces training: it’s awesome having 32 inch biceps, but can you run 5 km within thirty minutes? Functional training is focused on improving your body fitness with a variety of trainings designed to improve your aerobic ability and cardio fitness, plus strength and muscle definition.

The idea would be to reproduce usual everyday moves (well, everyday if you are a special forces operative) and work with your body’s normal range of movement. You could expect plenty of bodyweight training, plus ropes, sand bags, kettlebells and suspension trainers.

Join us on the beach as we toss the sandbags around, hook up some suspension training rigs in the trees and get legs and lungs burning with fast sprints.

Combinated exercise

Nowadays we’re great at multi-tasking (think about changing your status as you are watching on-demand TV and answering to an email), so multi-task training could be done as well. Look out for a whole raft of classes combining different training types and disciplines: spinning, suspension yoga, aqua boxing and psychology.

Barre

This comes from classical ballet, but do not worry, tutus are not obligatory. Named after the waist height wooden bar that goes along the walls of ballet studios, Barre classes combine ballet steps with aerobic moves, pounding electronic dance music and isometric contractions.

Swan Lake is out, Swedish House Mafia are in as you do an exercise and that will not only improve your metabolism, burn fat, and craft you lean muscles, but also helps enhance your posture.

Outdoor challenges

We all like challenges, at least that’s what the stats about outside challenge racing says. Activities as Rat Race and Tough Mudder would have been difficult to find a few years ago. Nowadays it seems there’s no shortage of people willing to crawl through mud, scale walls as well as swim through rivers.

With us you can experience coastal runs, SUP safaris and the Formentera half marathonno mud, but plenty of soft white sand and azure seas.
